Synopsis
Los primeros minutos trasmiten un misterio que poco a poco se revela como la lucha de ungrupo de hombres contra la naturaleza. La escasa información se contrapone al incesantetrabajo que realizan los habitantes del lugar. Al poco tiempo esa lucha se transforma en otra,no contra la naturaleza, sino contra el progreso, la tecnología y el olvido con un objetivocomún que no puede más que emocionar. Porque es claro que no sólo se está recuperandoun medio de transporte sino una idea de Nación que permanecía adormecida
The first minutes transmit a mystery that little by little is revealed as the fight of a group of men against nature. The scarce information is contrasted with the incessant work carried out by the local inhabitants. Soon this fight transforms into another, not against nature, but against progress, technology and oblivion with a common objective that cannot but excite. Because it is clear that not only a means of transportation is being recovered but also an idea of a Nation that remained dormant.
About the director
Nace en 1978 en Marcos Paz, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Se recibe en la carrera de Derecho en la UBA Universidad de Buenos Aires. Luego estudia cine en el Observatorio – Escuela de Cine Documental, y en el Laboratorio de Cine en el Departamento de Arte de la UTDT Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Entre sus obras se destacan cortometraje Tosie (2015), que fue elegido como ganador Fondo Metropolitano de las Artes, la Ciencia y la Cultura y estrenado en el BAFICI, y recibió el Premio del Público en Shnit ShortFilmFestival, y su largometraje documental El Tramo (2012), que fue declarado de interés por el INCAA, estrenado en el BAFICI, y recibió la Mención Honorífica en el FICVIÑA Festival Internacional de Cine de Viña
Born in 1978 in Marcos Paz, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He received his law degree from the UBA University of Buenos Aires. He then studied film at the Observatory-School of Documentary Film, and at the Film Laboratory at the Art Department of the UTDT Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. His works include the short film Tosie (2015), which was chosen as the winner of the Metropolitan Fund for Arts, Science and Culture and premiered at the BAFICI, and received the Audience Award at Shnit ShortFilmFestival, and his feature-length documentary El Tramo ( 2012), which was declared of interest by the INCAA, premiered at the BAFICI, and received Honorable Mention at the FICVIÑA International Film Festival of Viña del Mar.
