Los derruidos muros de “La Lechería”-una vieja fábrica abandonada- sirvieron de cobijo para cientos de familias que llegaban a la Ciudad de Buenos Aires escapando de las sucesivas crisis económicas. Después de 30 años, este edificio ubicado en La Paternal, se convirtió en uno de los asentamientos más grandes de la ciudad, llegando a albergar a más de mil personas en su interior.El Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires se propuso terminar con este asentamiento y así cumplir con el deseo de los vecinos de la zona residencial. Frente a esta decisión, los habitantes organizan una cooperativa de vivienda, luchando contrarreloj por encontrar una solución. Este documental transita el dificultoso proceso que implica organizarse para afrontar la mudanza hacia una nueva vida, una vida donde la errancia esperan haya concluido.‘Errantes’ ahonda en las experiencias de sus habitantes que, luchando por una vivienda digna, terminan dándose de frente con las profundas problemáticas existentes ante las diferencias sociales que atraviesan a nuestra sociedad.

The crumbling walls of “La Lechería” – an old abandoned factory – served as shelter for hundreds of families who arrived in the City of Buenos Aires to escape the successive economic crises. After 30 years, this building located in La Paternal, became one of the largest settlements in the city, housing more than a thousand people inside. The Government of the City of Buenos Aires set out to put an end to this settlement and thus fulfill the desire of the residents of the residential area. Faced with this decision, the inhabitants organize a housing cooperative, fighting against time to find a solution. This documentary goes through the difficult process that involves organizing to face the move towards a new life, a life where wandering has hopefully ended. ‘Errantes’ delves into the experiences of its inhabitants who, fighting for decent housing, end up coming face to face with the deep problems that exist in the face of the social differences that cross our society.
