RIOS DE CENIZA

Esteban decide acabar con su vida saltando desde un puente a una gran presa de agua que lo transporta a un universo onírico donde emprende un viaje al purgatorio en el que se enfrenta a su pasado y sus inseguridades; A medida que avanza por este camino atemporal, Esteban recuerda su remota casa entre las montañas colombianas donde trabaja bajo el mando de su padre, quien se comporta como un despótico jerarca que gobierna esta familia, integrada también por la esposa de Esteban y Juan que es su pequeño hijo. Este recorrido será la forma de entender mejor una traición que lleva a Esteban a la muerte y el miedo que siempre tuvo Juan hacia un mito de un desastre natural que podría ocurrir en estas montañas.

Esteban decides to end his life by jumping from a bridge into a large water dam that transports him to a dreamlike universe where he undertakes a journey to purgatory in which he faces his past and his insecurities; As he advances along this timeless path, Esteban remembers his remote house among the Colombian mountains where he works under the command of his father, who behaves like a despotic hierarch who governs this family, also made up of Esteban’s wife and Juan who is his little son. This tour will be the way to better understand a betrayal that leads Esteban to death and the fear that Juan always had towards a myth of a natural disaster that could occur in these mountains.
